Our Process

1

Consultation & Site Visit

Every project begins with a conversation about your space, goals, and how you plan to use your court.

We’ll review photos or visit your property to evaluate the area, access, drainage, and any grading or site considerations. During this stage we’ll also discuss court size, orientation, fencing, lighting, and additional features like basketball hoops or multi-sport layouts.

Our goal is to make sure your space is suitable for a court and help you understand what’s possible before moving forward.

2

Custom Design & Estimate

Once we understand your site and vision, we prepare a custom estimate tailored to your property.

Your proposal will outline the scope of work, materials, court layout, and pricing so you know exactly what to expect. Small details like colors, accessories, and scheduling can always be finalized before construction begins.

When you’re ready to move forward, simply approve the estimate to reserve your place in our schedule.

3

Permitting & Prep

Depending on the project and local requirements, permits may be required before construction begins.

During this stage we handle project planning, scheduling, and walk you through any necessary permitting. We’ll also coordinate logistics such as access to the property, staging materials, and preparing the site for construction.

Most projects begin approximately 3-5 weeks after approval, depending on scheduling and weather.

4

Build & Install

This is where your court comes to life.

Construction typically begins with site preparation and base work, followed by post-tension concrete installation. Once the concrete has properly cured, we apply the 4 coat acrylic surfacing system, install court lines, and add accessories such as nets, fencing, lighting, or basketball hoops.

New court builds take about 6 weeks, including a 30-day curing stage.

5

Walkthrough & Play

After installation is complete, we’ll review the finished court with you and go over any care or maintenance recommendations.

Once the surface has fully cured, your court will be ready for play. Whether it’s a backyard pickleball court or a game court, the goal is the same — creating a space where friends and family can gather and enjoy the game for years to come.

What to Expect During Construction

Most backyard court projects are straightforward and minimally disruptive. Our team works efficiently to keep your property clean, organized, and on schedule.

Here’s what homeowners can typically expect during construction:

Site preparation

We begin by preparing the area for the court, which may include excavation, grading, and forming the concrete slab.

Concrete installation

The concrete base is poured and finished to create a strong, level playing surface. The concrete must cure for 30 days before the court surfacing system is applied.

Court surfacing & court lines

Once the slab has cured, we apply the 4 coat acrylic coating system and the court striping for pickleball, tennis, basketball, or game court layouts.

Accessories installation

Finally, we install any additional features such as nets, fencing, lighting, basketball hoops, or windscreens.

Throughout the process, our team focuses on maintaining a clean worksite and minimizing disruption to your home.
